I was watching TV the other day and I noticed this beautifully made commercial for the new Lincoln 2010. The music is great too. Its “major tom” (coming home) performed by shny toy guns. Enjoy!

Last Day Dream
Once I saw this piece on Vimeo I thought it had some familiar quality to it and as soon as the credits came up I said “Aha!” Not surprisingly the work of the outstanding director Chris Milk, Produced for the 42 Second Dream Film Festival. Definitely worth sharing.

Poker Cards Collective
When I was about 6 years old, I created my own little collection of playing cards. I invented my own game play and I called it “Risk” based on the original game. These cards became an instant hit among my friends back then. Now at 29, I feel that its time to revisit the idea. As I kept thinking about it and about the state of technology now and how vastly different it is from my childhood days, I began to have a certain idea. Why not let this be a collective project.
I am going to supply the vector template for the Poker Cards and hope that artists would download it and create their own versions and then submit them to me so they can be featured on the blog.
