Omar Al-Zo’bi

A designer with a bite. His style is edgy and unique which makes him highly distinguished among the crowd. Omar doesn’t seem to be afraid of putting out some crazy stuff with a lot of attitude. These pieces can have some crude look and feel, which makes them full of life and humor, but don’t be fooled, these are nothing but high quality designs. His Arabic set of projects contains some interesting pieces that are full of humanity and subjects that seems silly on the surface but are deep in their thoughts and complexities. Continue reading →

However, this young Kuwaiti graphic designer is not shy about showing her amazing ability to blend Arabic calligraphy within colorful environments that are full of images and graphics without losing the powerful form these beautiful letters have. Her designs are full of intricate details and vibrant colors, which shows obvious creative complexity. Continue reading →

mostafa

Mostafa Kawtharani

In the past I have found it really hard to discover that many Arabic graphic designers. However, now with the power of social networking I can easily navigate my way into multiple artist and find more through interlinking. I wanted to highlight one of the first that I have discovered. His name is Mostafa and he is from Beirut, Lebanon and works in Qatar. His work has a very interesting blend of pure Arabic typography and calligraphy mixed with some powerful textured imagery.
